چکیده
Fault detection and isolation is an area of engineering dealing with designing on-line protocols for systems that allow one to identify the existence faults, pinpoint their exact location, overcome them. We consider case multi-agent systems, where faults correspond disappearance links in underlying graph, simulating a communication failure between corresponding agents. study which agents controllers are maximal equilibrium-independent passive (MEIP), use known connection steady-states these network optimization theory. first asymptotic methods differentiating faultless system from its faulty versions by studying steady-state outputs. explain how apply differentiation detect isolate graph-theoretic guarantees on number can be isolated, assuming "convergence assertion protocol", data-driven method asserting converges conjectured limit. then construct two model-based convergence protocols. demonstrate our results study.

Distributed Control and Synchronization of Diffusively Coupled Systems
Distributed Control and Synchronization of Diffusively Coupled Systems by Sayed Yusef Shafi Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering – Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences University of California, Berkeley Professor Murat Arcak, Chair Diffusively coupled networks, in which different components of a network adjust their behavior according to the local sum of differences between their own and...
متن کاملGuaranteeing Spatial Uniformity in Diffusively-Coupled Systems
We present a condition that guarantees spatially uniformity in the solution trajectories of a diffusivelycoupled compartmental ODE model, where each compartment represents a spatial domain of components interconnected through diffusion terms with like components in different compartments. Each set of like components has its own weighted undirected graph describing the topology of the interconne...
متن کاملClustering in diffusively coupled networks
This paper shows how different mechanisms may lead to clustering behavior in connected networks consisting of diffusively coupled agents. In contrast to the widely studied synchronization processes, in which the states of all the coupled agents converge to the same value asymptotically, in the cluster synchronization problem studied in this paper, we require all the interconnected agents to evo...
متن کاملOn Delay-Induced Stability in Diffusively Coupled Discrete-Time Systems
The stability of networked systems is considered under time-delayed diffusive coupling. Necessary conditions for stability are given for general directed and weighted networks with both positive and negative weights. Exact stability conditions are obtained for undirected networks with nonnegative weights, and it is shown that the largest eigenvalue of the graph Laplacian determines the effect o...
متن کاملDesign and Practical Implementation of a New Markov Model Predictive Controller for Variable Communication Packet Loss in Network Control Systems
The current paper investigates the influence of packet losses in network control systems (NCS’s) using the model predictive control (MPC) strategy. The study focuses on two main network packet losses due to sensor to controller and controller to actuator along the communication paths. A new Markov-based method is employed to recursively estimate the probability of time delay in controller to ac...
